Mira Media Group, a full-service marketing agency, has announced the acquisition of Attacus Cycling, a renowned cycling apparel brand with a rich legacy of over a decade in the sport and lifestyle sector.
Founded in 2015, Attacus has established itself as a bold, innovative brand within the cycling community, collaborating with global companies such as Garmin and building a loyal following worldwide. The brand was most recently owned by entrepreneur Dan McClen, who took over in December 2023 and continued to uphold the Attacus vision of premium, performance-driven apparel.
For Mira Media Group, this acquisition represents more than a business move. It is a natural alignment. Attacus has been a long-standing client of Mira, and the marketing agency's deep understanding of the brand makes this transition seamless.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for us. My first business was a sportswear brand, which I ran for over four years. We built nationwide retail partnerships and a strong online presence before I exited the company. That experience, combined with Mira's growth as a marketing agency, gives us a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed in the eCommerce and sportswear space. Acquiring Attacus allows us to bring all of that expertise together."
Stuart Bramley · Co-Founder and Owner, Mira Media Group
Mira Media Group has grown from strength to strength in recent years, delivering results-driven marketing strategies for eCommerce and professional services clients across the UK and beyond. With the acquisition of Attacus, the agency will not only drive the brand forward but also strengthen its own ability to serve clients by gaining first-hand insight into the challenges and opportunities of running a consumer brand.
"Owning a brand ourselves ensures our team stays sharp and fully aligned with the needs of eCommerce business owners. It gives us the freedom to test, innovate, and apply end-to-end growth strategies. Knowledge that directly benefits all of our clients."
Stuart Bramley · Co-Founder and Owner, Mira Media Group
The acquisition marks a new chapter for Attacus Cycling as it looks ahead to continued growth, innovation, and deeper engagement with the global cycling community.
